Work accident in Volos

Aboard the "Blue Antares" which was berthed in Volos on Sep 6, 2018, a 55-year-old docker was injured while loading a ferrocar. The worker was in the cargo hold when he fell and was injured at the fingers of the right hand, theright shoulder and head. An ambulance took him to the General Hospital of Volos. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Central Port Authority of Volos.

Technical failure at Gemlik

The "Blue Antares" suffered a technical failure at Gemlik on June 4, 2018, The vessels departure permission has been cancelled by the Harbour Master untilthe completion of permanent repairs. A state surveyor attended on board in order to verify the final repair status. Repairs were carried out by the crew. The vessel sailed on June 6 at 6.30 p.m. and headed to Novorossiysk, where it arrived on June 10 at 10 p.m. before sailing further to Nemrut, ETA June 15.
