BG Freight Line Named Ship Operator of the Year

Wed Jul 13 10:01:09 CEST 2016 arnekiel

BG Freight Line has been named ship operator of the year at the Marine Industry Awards 2016 which took place in Galway recently. A leading supplier of containerised services, BG Freight Line was recognised for its efficient and competitive services between Ireland, UK and Europe, which the judges considered had allowed the creation of more jobs and boosted the Irish economy. Attended by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Michael Creed TD, 19 awards were presented to winners during the event at the Radisson Blu Galway. BG Freight Line operates 15 fully containerised ships covering the UK, Belgium, France, Netherlands and Republic of Ireland, serving all ports at least twice a week. In the last year BG Freight Line has extended its Irish Sea Hub network with a new service connecting Rotterdam, Liverpool, Dublin, Belfast and Greenock.
