Barge stuck on the Waal

Tue Oct 23 11:33:59 CEST 2018 Timsen

On Oct 22, 2018, the "Jager", 3395 ts (EU-No.: 02318927), being enroute from Rotterdam to Hengelo, got stuck under the railway bridge over the Waal in Nijmegen. The grounding was coused by the low water level on the river. The German barge "Wendelin" (MMSI: 211513620) was called to assist and managed to pull the ship off again.
