Ferry evacuated after grounding near Ylvingen
On Nov 21, 2016, at 10.30 p.m. the "Bognes" ran aground north of Ylvingen. Two passengers and the crew of five were brought to safety. The passengers on the ferry were taken aboard the "Eyr Bremstein" at 11 p.m. The crew was taken off by the "Torgtind". Preliminary indications suggest major damage to the bow. At 11.45 p.m. the lifeboat "UNI Helgeland" went on standby at the "Bognes". Just before midnight a diver and two tusg were summoned to the ship. is on track to ship. The "Boa Balder" and "Boa Frigg" pulled the ferry off on Nov 22 at 4 a.m. She proceeded with own machine to Igerøy and unloaded the two cars. She then headed to a yard in Sandnessjøen for repairs The "Ramtind" was called as a replacement ferry on the Igerøy-Horn route on Nov a.m. 22, however, the sailings at 7 a.m. from Horn and 07:30 from Andalsvåg were canceled. Ferry broke down off Ylvingen
The "Bognes" suffered an engine failure east of Ylvingen in Helgeland on Mar 1, 2015, at 10 p.m. and had to be towed to Brønnøysund. There were eight passengers and a crew of six aboard the ferry. In spite of the windy weather the tow has been safe and well.

In the foremidday hours of Sep 6, 2010, the "Bognes" suffered machine failure north of Hansnes and had to be stopped by dropping anchor. There were 14 passengers on board. The ship had departed from Hansnes at 12.45 p.m. A ship of the Coast Guard and a rescue boat towed the ship to port at 3 p.m. A replacement vessel was called from Harstad and started service in the afternoon until repairs are carried out.
