Vessel ran aground off Bay Bulls Harbour, moved from the rocks by tug
General cargo with container capacity BBC Oregon (9618 gt, built 2010) ran aground shortly after departing Bay Bulls Harbour, Canada, at 1630 hrs, Jun 30. The Canadian Coast Guard vessel Edward Cornwallis and tug Beverly M moved the vessel from the rocks on the south side of the harbour, during high tide in the evening. The Coast Guard?s environmental response team says there were no injuries, and the vessel remains anchored in the harbour. A dive team will inspect the hull, and an assessment will be conducted to determine if there is any pollution
