Allision in Aveiro

On April 20, 2021, the 'Nordic Nelly' allided with a pier while berthing at the port of Aveiro. The wharf and ground equipment suffered damage in the accident. An investigation into the incident was launched. No injuries have been reported and no pollution has been reported. The tanker left Aveiro again on April 23 at 1.15 p.m., headed to Bilbao, where it arrived on April 25.

Tanker left Antwerp after four weeks

The "Nordic Nelly" which had suffered loss of its steering while leaving Tees on June 5, 2018, and was assisted back in to port at QE2 berth by the tug "Fiery Cross" and another tug sailed on June 21 and arrived at Antwerp on June 21. The tanker left on July 18 at 6 p.m., bound to Harwich.

Tanker towed to Antwerp Shiprepair

The Teesport VTS organised two tugs. among them the "Fiery Cross", to assist the disabled "Nordic Nelly" back in to port where it berthed at the QE2 berth. The tanker arrived at Antwerp Shiprepair in tow of a tug on June 21 at 5.30 a.m.
