BALTIC TAUCHER II 9096387
The "Baltic Taucher II" on Nov 21, 2010, raised the wreck of the Maasholm based f/v "Möwe SM 1", which had sunk on Nov 11 southeast of Fehmarn while under tow of the rescue vessel "John T. Essberger" on a water depth of seven metres. The salave was complicated as the stern of the wreck had sunk 1,5 metres into the sand and the weight was more than the 11 tons expected. With its fish cargo the weight was about 20 tons so more lifting bags were needed. The wreck was raised with chains pulled under the hull. After it was lifted, the "Baltic Taucher II" pulled it to the port of Burgstaakener within 3 hours. The crane of the local marine lifted the "Möwe" onto the quay.
