Bulkcarrier on maiden voyage after temporary repairs
After its collision with the LNG tanker "WilForce" (IMO: 9627954), off Singapore on May 30, the "Western Moscow" was approaching Ijmuiden on July 26 after calls at Batam from June 7-18 and Colombo from June 25 to 26. The port side anchor was missing, and temporary repairs had been carried out on the port bow. The ship berthed in the Bering Port in Amsterdam at 2.35 p.m. The "WilForce" remained stationary at the Benoi Shipyard in Singapore on July 27. Permanent repairs of the "Western Moscow" were completed on Sep 10, and the ship left Ijmuiden at 2.50 p.m., bound to Muuga as next port of call, ETA Sep 14. Collision off Singapore
On May 30, 2019, the LNG tanker "WilForce" was damaged in a collision with the Nisshin Shipping's new building "Western Moscow" on its way to Singapore, sailing in ballast. The LNG tanker suffered dents and head to enter a shipyard in Singapore to repair the hull damage. To date it was unclear how long the ship would be out of service according to the Norwegian shipping company Awilco LNG, which, based on the preliminary assessments of the circumstances of the collision, believed that the blame was solely on the other ship.
