First ship of banrupt Innoven Marine Service sold
After the Innoven Marine Service in Bremerhaven went bankrupt in spring 2023, the 'Lev Twister' could be sold as the largest vessel of its fleet of three and was taken over by the British company Atlantic Oceanic, which renamed it 'Atlantic Sovereign' and registered the formerly German flagged vessel in Belize. The ship has been laid up since February in Bremerhaven at the West Quay.
Laid up after contract expired
Atlantic Offshore reported that the "Ocean King"'s contract with Statoil has expired and no extension has been added. In December 2015 the company had extended the contract for the vessel on the Norne field until summer. The last contract of the "Ocean King" expired on July 2, 2016. The ship berthed in Frederikshavn on Aug 3 and was laid up.
