Tanker sank as artifial reef

Fri Apr 26 12:40:57 CEST 2019 Timsen

The "Atlantic Breeze" has been scuttled as an artificial reef off New Providence Island on Mach 31, 2019, by Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas. After completing her service, the vessel was donated to be sunk as an artificial reef. Needless to say before her sinking the ship was made safe, and all traces of fuels and oils were removed. The vessel sank stern first at a depth of 16,5 meters and joins a host of over 30 ships that Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas has sunk over the years, including two of her sister ships from the same fleet — the "Carib Breeze" and "Tropic Breeze".
