65 migrants rescued by supply ship
65 migrants were rescued by the 'Asso Ventinove' from a wooden boat off Libyaon Oct 2, 2021. The migrant ship was adrift after its engine stopped running and was spotted by the Seabird, a non-governmental organization (NGO) surveillance plane flying over the central Mediterranean. They were taken aboard the supply ship of the Bouri Oil Field following a request from the Seabird. 95 migrants disembarked in Trapani
On Sep 16, 2020, 95 migrants were disembarked in Trapani from the 'Asso Ventinove' ship which operates in the area of the Bouri offshore platform off the coast of Libya. They will be transferred on board the 'GNV Aurelia', which landed 63 people for quarantine.
18 migrants rescued, three more missing
On Sep 1, 2020, the 'Asso 29' resued 18 migrants off the Libyan coast. On Sep 2 they were landed in Pozzallo. Among them were 15 men, one woman and two children, who were recovered from the sea when the small boat on which they were adrift overturned a few miles south of the Sabratha platform. Once on board the 'Asso 29', the shipwrecked said that three other people had disappeared in the sea, including a girl from Benin, who were previously on board the boat.
