Bahri beefs up its fleet of VLCCs with delivery of 300,000dwt tanker ASLAF
Bahri, the world’s largest owner and operator of Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs) and a leader in transportation and logistics, has further expanded its multipurpose fleet with the addition of ‘ASLAF’, a 300,000-dwt carrier built by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in South Korea, Bahri said in a press release. Bahri took delivery of the new vessel at HHI’s Mokpo shipyard in South Jeolla Province, South Korea, bringing the number of VLCCs in its fleet to 39 while increasing its total fleet size to 86.
