Captain medevaced with heart attack

Mon Apr 01 10:07:53 CEST 2019 Timsen

The "Asian Joy" interrupted her voyage and turned to Korean waters, after the ship’s master, a 64-year old Filipino, lost consciousness on the bridge. The ship requested medical assistance and was ordered to approach Tongyeong, southwest of Buasn, and anchor. The captain was airlifted by helicopter and transferred to a hospital in Busan. The "Asian Joy" then resumed her voyage from Kobe to Qingdao. Reportedly, the captain had suffered a heart attack. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIZYt_12jiA
