Medevac off Kochi

On May 15, 2024, the Indian Coast Guard medevaced a 62-year-old critically ill crew member from the 'Anvil Point', en route from Dubai to Muara, off Kochi. Following the rescue operation, the patient was shifted to Renai Hospital in Ernakulam. The Coast Guard deployed the patrol ship 'C-410' for the operation. Medevac off A Coruña

On Oct 4, 2021, the 'Anvil Point' requested the medical evacuation of a crew member about 75 nautical miles northwest of A Coruña on Oct 5, 2021. The CCS Finisterre mobilized the Helimer 401 helicopter,, which hoisted the patient and transported him to the A Coruña airport, where an ambulance was waiting for the further transport to hospital.

Ferry rescued 25 distressed migrants

The 'Anvil Point' reported on June 7, 2021, at 8:35 p.m. that she had located and rescued 25 migrants of sub-Sahara origin 426 kilometers from Gran Canaria northwest of the city of Dakhla in the Atlantic. The ship was heading to the port of Las Palmas with the castaways on board. The health status of the castaways seemed to be good. The 'Anvil Point' was sailing from Southampton (UK) to the port of Georgetown upon Saint Helena.
