Ship reached Kavkaz after engine failure

The 'Annita' suffered an engine failure en route from Tuzla to Kavkaz and dangerously drifted towards the shore at Anadolukavagi on Oct 13, 2022. The ship was moored in Sariyer and sailed from the port again on Oct 14 at 3 p.m. UTC. It moored in position 45 07 46 N, 036 32 36 E, 1,3 nautical miles from Kavkaz anchorage on Oct 18 at 7.40 p.m.

Bulk carrier disabled off Türkeli

The 'Annita', en route Tuzla to Kavkaz, suffered an engine failure during the transit of the Bosphorus on Oct 13, 2022, at around 8.40 p.m. off the Türkeli coast and dropped anchor. The tugs 'Kurtarma 7' and 'Kurtarma 8' were deployed to assist the ship along with a pilot and the lifeboat 'Kiyem 8' under the coordination of the Istanbul Ship Traffic Services Center. The bulk carrier was taken in tow and anchored safely off Büyükdere in pos. 41° 09.28' N 029° 03.00' E on Oct 14 at 12.45 a.m UTC.
