Detention in Gemlik

On April 18, 2025, the 'Annapurna' was detained in Gemlik with 13 deficiencies, four of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Fire safety - Jacketed high pressure lines and oil leakage alarm Inoperative 2) Fire safety - Fire doors/openings in fire resisting division Unsafe 3) Water/Weathertight - Ventilators, air pipes and casings Damaged 4) Living and working - Cleanliness of engine room Insufficient The vessel was released again on April 20, destined to Izmit. Ship arrested due to severe safety defiencies

The "Bonay" which had come from Vierow to Rostock on Jan 27, 2015, was detained by the water police in Rostock during a control on Jan 28 due to a number of significant safety defiencies. The GMDSS was not working, alarm systems for water ingress and fire were faulty too and disabled by the crew which also reported about repeated water ingress at the rudder gear. The ship was arrested by the responsible authorities for transport and traffic on Jan 29.
