Disabled cargo ship towed to Kristiansund

On Sep 24, 2019, the 'Amalie', which had sailed from Kristiansund bound to Mo i Rana on Sep 23, 2019, at 2.45 p.m. with a crew of six on board, suffered engine trouble on the Bremsnes Fjord. The NSSR lifeboat 'Erik Bye' was called to assist and took the ship in tow in calm weather conditions. It was pulled back to Kristiansund at 8 a.m. The "Amalie" left the port again after troubleshooting at 5.50 p.m. and resumed the voyage to Mo i Rana with an ETA as of Sep 25, 11.30 p.m.
