Bulkcarrier aground off Terneuzen

Tue Oct 07 09:55:20 CEST 2014 Timsen

In the early morning of Oct 7, 2014, the "AM Hamburg", having come from Dunkirk, went adrift on the Wester Scheldt at the Put Terneuzen during cargo operations and ran aground. Several tugs, including the "Multratug 19", "Multratug 20", "Multratug 22", "Barracuda", "Brugge", "Evegem" and "Braakman" were quick to spot, and the bulkcarrier could be refloated smoothly around 08.00 a.m and was safely anchored.
