Small oil leakage during bunkering operation

Between one and two cubic meters of bunker fuel leaked over board from the "Koznitza" during bunkering operations on Skagen anchorage in the Kattegat in the evening of May 27, 2017, The bulk carrier, having come from Riga, was taking fuel from the bunker tanker "Aalborg" (IMO: 9327475), when the leak occurred.

Engine failure off Murmansk

On March 27, 2017, at 06.37 a.m. the "Koznitza" suffered engine failure and went adrift about 14 miles north of Kildin island in the Barents Sea, while en route to Murmansk. The master requested tug assistance, and the "Murmanryba" was deployed to the vessel. At 09.34 a.m. the vessel reported the engine to be fixed and resumed sailing to Murmansk, escorted by the tug to port where it arrived at 2.15 p.m.
