Nakilat transitions another LNG carrier to in-house management

Thu May 25 11:42:22 CEST 2017 arnekiel

Nakilat has announced that it has assumed full ship management and operations of the Al Ghashamiya LNG carrier from Shell Trading and Shipping Co. Ltd (STASCo). Nakilat claims that this is part of the planned and phased transition that was originally announced on 19 October 2016. The vessel has a cargo carrying capacity of 217 591 m3, and is wholly owned by Nakilat. It is chartered by Qatargas, and was constructed by Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea. It was delivered in April 2009, and has been in service ever since. https://www.lngindustry.com/lng-shipping/25052017/nakilat-transitions-another-lng-carrier-to-in-house-management/
