Medevac off Vigo for COVID-19 suspicion
A sailor who has been medevaced from the 'BBC Neptune' in Vigo with symptoms of Covid-19 has been tested negative by the Vithas Fátima, the hospital to which he was transferred after his disembarkation. The ship was anchored in Cíes while the man was transferred to A Laxe and from there to Fátima. The ship later resumed their route from Klaipeda to the port of Jorf Lasfar with an ETA as of Aug 17, 2020.
Repairs of collision damage completed
The BBC Neptune" left the repair yard German Dry Docks in Bremerhaven on May 17 at 4.15 a.m. after completion of repairs of damages suffered in the collision with the "Delphis Gdansk". First port of call after the repairs was Santos, ETA June 4. The "Delphis Gdansk" remained under repair at the Gdanska Stocznia Remontowa in Gdansk for the time being.
Ship entered repair yard after collision in Great Belt
The "BBC Neptune", being assisted by the tug "Bugsier 1", on Apr 1 at 3 p.m. entered the Lloyd Yard Bremerhaven for repairs of the damage, suffered in the collision with the "Delphis Gdansk" in the Great Belt. The ship was assisted by the tugs "Bugsier 1" and "Bugsier 4". The "Dlphis Gdansk" arrived off St. Petersburg on Apr 2.
