Fuel filter replaced in the Northsea
On Feb 16, 2018, a t3.48 p.m. the "MR Pegasus", loaded with 329,000.52 barrels of regular unleaded gasoline, stopped in position 50 13 18N 02 04 42W, to replace fuel oil filters. The Master performed this operation in close cooperation with the Solent vessel traffic service. The exchange of the fuel oil filters was proactive and not a result of mechanical failure. The vessel was safely on its way after 15 minutes and continued the voyage from Ijmuiden to Tuxpan at 4 p.m.
