In the afternoon of Oct 7, 2017, the Malta flagged ferry "Eurocargo Trieste" (IMO: 9131515), allided with the "Aegean III" and the Greek ferry "Superfast 1" (IMO: 9350719), after she was caught by wind gusts while maneuvering to leave the berth in the New Port of Patras. The tanker was moored alongside the ferry for bunkering purposes and was sandwiched between the two larger ships. The Central Port Authority Patras detained all involved vessels for inspections. The "Eurocargo Trieste" sustained slight dents and scratches at the starboard bow, the "Superfast 1" some scratches at the port side amidships, 2,5 meters above the waterline and sailed at 6 p.m., bound to Bari. The tanker suffered a 1.0×0.35-meter breach at portside in the stern area about two meters above the waterline and headed for repairs on Oct 8 at 2.15 p.m. The "Eurocargo Trieste" headed to Bari too on Oct 8 at 1.30 a.m., Greek reports with photos: http://www.thetoc.gr/koinwnia/article/patra-fortigo-ploio-stoukare-deksamenoploio-pou-anefodiaze-to-superfast-1 http://www.thebest.gr/news/index/viewStory/459441 http://patrastimes.gr/%CE%B4%CF%85%CF%84%CE%B9%CE%BA%CE%AE-%CE%B5%CE%BB%CE%BB%CE%AC%CE%B4%CE%B1/%CF%80%CE%AC%CF%84%CF%81%CE%B1-%CF%80%CF%8E%CF%82-%CE%AD%CE%B3%CE%B9%CE%BD%CE%B5-%CE%B7-%CE%BA%CE%B1%CF%81%CE%B1%CE%BC%CF%80%CF%8C%CE%BB%CE%B1-%CF%84%CF%81%CE%B9%CF%8E%CE%BD-%CF%80%CE%BB%CE%BF/ http://www.zougla.gr/greece/article/sigrousi-plion-sto-notio-limani-tis-patras
