Tunisia: new shipping line Sfax-Novorossiysk (Russia) Operational November 2
A new maritime line linking the port of Sfax to that of Novorossiysk in Russia, with two calls per month, will be operational from November 2. This new sea link will reduce 10 to 5 days the duration of the crossing between the two ports and is designed primarily for transporting food products, marble and tiles and pottery products. An information day was held Monday at the Exporter House on the official opening of the new shipping line. Tugs Strike: July 4, 5 & 6. 2012
Tug Boats, belonging and under Port authorities management (OMMP), entered on strike for three day, starting July the 4th. 2012. They threatened to extend strike in case an agreement with OMMP will not be concluded.
