Adani vows to transform Dharma port
Dharma port, on the northeast coast of India towards the Bangladesh border, is set to become one of the nation’s largest ports thanks to massive investment from Adani Group. “We anticipate Dhamra to have 35 berths having 315 million tonne capacity. This will make it the largest port in India having an industrial cluster,” chairman Gautam Adani told reporters yesterday. The tycoon said the port could become a gateway to the Asean region. LNG and LPG terminals will also feature in the buildup alongside many bulker berths and an industrial park. The group has been in charge of Dhamra port for the past two years. http://splash247.com/adani-vows-transform-dharma-port/
