Detained bulkcarrier to be auctioned
Qingdao Maritime Court will hold an auction to sell the 'Blue Marlin 1' via online platform Taobao on April 10, 2020. The starting price for the vessel is $7m, while VesselsValue’s valuation on the vessel was $7.4m. The vessel was the last ship in the fleet of Greek owner Remi Maritime, run by the Polemis family. The vessel was detained by the court at the request of creditors of the company at the end of 2018 in Weihai.
Bulkcarrier to be auctioned
After the 'Blue Marlin I' has been stuck at the Wei Hai New Shipbuilding Port in Wei Hai for seven months now, a Chinese auction was expected for last Remi Maritime ship. The National Bank of Greece was said to be behind the auction of supramax that has been idle since 124 days on Oct 1.
