Ferry suffered electrial malfunction
On Oct 16, 2024, the 'Vladimir Nazor' was spinning in circles for 40 minutes in the Kosirača Bay on the island of Ist, because the ramps could not be lowered. The ship then turned around and returned to Zadar. The cause was a malfunction of the electrical installation that could not be corrected, and the disembarkation on the island of Ist could not take place. The ship was back in Zadar at around 4:30 p.m., where the passengers and vehicleswere taken over by the ferry 'Bartol Kašić'.
