Ferry disabled due to broken cable
The "Uraniborg" had to be sidelined in Landskrona on Feb 23, 2014, due to a technical failure. The cause was a broken cable being necessary to run, manage and navigate the ferry. Traffic on the route Ven-Landskrona was suspended until the cable was repaired and a test run of the system carried out. The "Uraniborg" was still being in the warranty period. The ship was meanwhile repladed by the ferry "Stjärneborg".

Finally the ferry was pulled back to the quay with the help of a rope. The passengers had to take another ferry. According to Ventrafikens the problems were caused by an operator error. The same day the problem was resolved.
