Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble
The "Ulysses" was not operating on the Holyhead route having docked in Dublin Port in the night of Oct 29, 2018, due to a technical reason. The "Ulysses", having completed a round trip to Holyhead, proceeded upriver to berth in the Alexandra Basin in Dublin but was scheduled to return to service on Nov 1 on the 8.55 p.m. sailing to Holyhead.
Ferry finally back
On July 26 at 11 a.m. the "Ulysses" was crossing between Dublin and Holyhead for the first time since late-June. She arrived in Belfast at 3.45 a.m. and left Dublin as scheduled at 8.05 a.m. with an ETA in Holyhead around 11.20 a.m. The "Epsilon" was already on the berth at Dublin to resume operating her own timetable in the afternoon at 2.30 p.m. Report with photos: https://www.niferry.co.uk/irish-ferries-ulysses-finally-leaves-belfast/
Ferry return further delayed
The "Ulysses" was due to leave Belfast Dry Dock on July 25. She was scheduled for the sailing at 8 a.m. on July 26 from Dublin, one day earlier than planned. Trials were to take place on the way back to her homeport. The "Epsilon" has been removed from the schedule. The plans faced a setback in the last minute with the refloating of the ship now planned for July 27. Report with photos: https://www.niferry.co.uk/ulysses-leave-dry-dock-today/
