Tyrving troubled on the fjord

The "Tyrving" had to be sidelined in Langevåg in the afternoon of Nov 30, 2015, due to technical trouble which occurred in the middle of the fjord. The ship had problems to berth in Ålesund on the Sula side and returned to Langevåg at 4.30 p.m. It was expected to have the ferry back in Service on Dec 1. Ferry allided with quay

In the afternoon of Jan 12, 2015, the "Tyrving" slammed into the quay at Langevåg. Neither crew nor passengers were injured, but the wharf must be repaired after the speedboat hit. A cylinder that held the gangway was broken. The ferry had been caught by a squall and pushed against the landing.
