Bulkcarrier to be auctioned
South African authorities have scheduled the auction of the "Tarik 3" at the request of Credit Europe Bank. The bulker will go on the auction block on the morning of Jan 13, 2015. The sale will be conducted by auctioneer Roy Martin of Durban-based Admiralty Ship Sales. Credit Europe Bank arrested the "Tarik 3" in June 2014. A recent surveyor’s report indicated that the ship was dry-docked in Turkey in February but only minimum repairs and painting were carried out.
