Sailings cancelled due to engine trouble
The 'Stena Vision', serving on the route Rosslare-Cherbourg, was operating with one engine down on June 25, 2025. The ferry was running about six hours behind schedule. Thr next return trip from Cherbourg, departing on the evening, has been cancelled as well as the sailing from Rosslare on June 26.
Passenger lost over board
On March 5, 2022, at 4:20 a.m., the MRCC in Gdynia received a digital "Man Overboard" signal by radio from the 'Stena Vision'. The ferry was sailing about 8 nautical miles north of Rozewie en route to Gdynia. A man wearing a gray jacket had fallen overboard. The crew of the ferry threw a lifebuoy with a light buoy to the victim. An SAR operation was launched, involving the SAR vessel 'Bryza' from Władysławowo, a Navy helicopter, two units of the ferry and a nearby German navy ship as well as a merchant man. The sea state was 2-3, air temperature 2 degrees Celsius, water temperature 3 degrees Celsius. The search was suspended without result at 2 p.m.
Ferry delayed due to bomb threat
On Aug 9, 2021, a passenger behaved threateningly on board the 'Stena Vision' while the ship was en route from Karlskrona to Gdynia. The passenger claimed that he claimed to have placed bombs on board the ship. Just before the ferry was to arrive in Gdynia the passenger was overpowered by staff and was arrested when the ship docked at Gdynia. An investigation was conducted by the police. At 1 p.m., the investigation aboard the 'Stena Vision' was completed, and the ship left Gdynia short time later towards Karlskrona.
