Medevac in the Kattegat
On Dec 6, 2024, a person needed to be medevaced from the 'Stena Scandinavica' in the Kattegat, while the ship was en route from Kiel to Gothenburg. The Danish Armed Forces were requested to assist, and at 05.31 a.m. the rescue helicopter from Roskilde hoisted the patient from the ship. He was then transported to the hospital for further medical care.

On Oct 4, 2024, at 02.38 a.m. a passenger of the 'Stena Scandinavica' needed to be medevaced in Danish waters, while the ferry was en route from Gothenburg to Kiel. The Danish Civil Defense deployed an SaR helicopter from Roskilde which hoisted the patient and transported him to shore for further medical care.

On Dec 5, 2023, at 06.34 a.m. an SAR helicopter of the Danish Defence medevaced a person from the 'Stena Scandinavica' south of Langeland island. The ship had been en route from Gothenburg to Kiel, where it arrived at around 9.15 a.m. LT.
