After its collision with the "Süllberg" in the Kiel Canal the "Sonoro" is meanwhile sailing again. After its departure from Brunsbuettel it reached the Dutch coast on Apr 24 and berthed at the Hogendijk in Rotterdam in the morning of Apr 25, 2010

The "Sonoro" ran aground in the Kiel Canal at canal km 23 in the Northern embankment sailing westbound on Apr 18, 2010, at 3.15 a.m. The ship refloated with own power and proceeded to Brunsbuettel. But at 4 a.m. it suffered another mishap near Hochdonn when it collided with the eastbound tank m/v "Süllberg", 1969 gt (IMO: 9100114) in dense fog. Both ship suffered damage above the waterline. The "Süllberg" ocntinued its voyage towards the Baltic Sea three hours later, the "Sonoro" remains berthed in Brunsbuettel.
