Ferry to be docked in Stavanger
The "Sigrid" which hit a stone filling near the ferry dock in Skipavik on Ombo on June 14 at 8.10 a.m. was taken to Stavanger in the afternoon and was docked at GMC on Buøy during the afternoon of June 15. It was still not known what caused the grounding, but the supplier will now analyze the signals sent from the bridge to the systems in the engine room. A report was submitted to the Norwegian Maritime Directorate and other authorities by Regional Manager for Ferries in Norled. The pictures taken by the diver did not show any damage to the hull but to rudder and propeller. The extent will only known once the ferry has been drydocked and examined thoroughly. It was currently uncertain how long she would have to remain out of service.

Ferry sidelined due to oil leak
Only one reserve ferry was sailing from Lurøybassenget after the "Sigrid" was hit by technical problems in the morning of June 8, 2015. The Ferry was sidelined in Stokkvågen for repairs. The first departure of a replacement ship of Boreal Transport Nord from Lovund was at 4.50 p.m. after the "Sigrid" had suffered a leak at the oil cooler so that the steering gear and üropellers were not working properly. Spare parts were sent to Mo i Rana to carry out a repair. In the morning of June 10 the "Lurøy" was expected back after the annual overhaul.
