Four injured in allision
The 'Sh-Durusu' allided with the Karakoy Pier in Istanbul while approaching it en route from Kadikoy on July 2, 2022, due to a technical malfunction. At least seven people were injured, four of them were taken to hospital. Emergency services have been deployed to the site. It remained unclear if there was any structural damage to Karakoy Pier. The incident may cause some disruptions to ferry service in the region in the coming days. Lingering disruptions were possible in the coming hours while emergency services continued to respond to the incident.
