Car stuck between ship and wharf
When the skipper of the "Lady Night" which was berthed in Leiedam on Feb 21, 2015, tried to move his car from the deck of his ship something went terribly wrong. The hoist cable suddenly broke snapped, and the car was stuck between wharf and ship partially in the water. The Deinse firefighters arrived with a team of divers to recover the car which was not an easy task because the car should not slip deeper. Finally the heavily damaged car could be pulled out again.
