Yacht and fishing vessel assisted off Tarragona
On Dec 14, the British flagged sailing yacht "Lady KC", with 3 crew members, required assistance from the CCS Tarragona of Salvamento Marítimo, after it lost steering about five nautical miles from the mouth of Tarragona. The 'Salvamar Fomalhaut' was mobilized and took the yacht in tow. It was safely pulled to the Marina Port Tarraco. The 'Salvamar Fomalhaut' subsequently assisted the fishing boat "Toni de Marcos', which had reported rudder problems with two crew members on board, 1.2 nautical miles southeast of Cape Salou.
