ROVS assisted in search of downed helicopter
Spanish armed forces have found the military helicopter that disappeared a week ago i74 kilometers off the Western Sahara. It was unclear if the bodies of the crew of three was inside the wreckage which was lying in a water depth of 40 meters. Approximately 20 divers from the Armed Forces and other equipment were used in the search. Also, two mini submarines from the Norwegian ship "Olympic Zeus" assisted. The search has been hampered by aggressive sharks in the area, and specially trained marksmen have protected the divers. A salvage attempt could be made in the morning of Oct 30, 2015, depending on the weather conditions.
