Russian damaged two civilian ships, killed one worker
On Oct 14, 2024, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile attack on Odesa, killing one person and injuring eight others. The injured individuals were taken to hospital, with two in serious condition. Medical staff were providing all necessary assistance. All those affected, including the deceased, were workers from the port infrastructure and citizens of Ukraine. In the attack, including the "NS Moon" and the "Optima", which was already damaged by a ballistic strike a week ago, when Russian forces launched a ballistic missile attack on Odesa port infrastructure, were damaged.
