Navios Maritime Announces Delivery of VLCC 'Nave Buena Suerte'
Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation, an owner and operator of tanker vessels, announced that the Nave Buena Suerte, a 2011-built VLCC of 297,491 dwt, was delivered . The Nave Buena Suerte, one of the three VLCCs acquired in November 2013, was purchased for $57.0 million. The Nave Buena Suerte has been chartered out to a high quality counter party for minimum one year at a rate based on charterer's VLCC pool earnings. Fleet Update : Following the delivery of the Nave Buena Suerte, Navios Acquisition has 36 vessels in the water.
Hebei Ocean Shipping Co (Hosco) sells 'Peace China' to greek owners
Hebei Ocean Shipping Co (Hosco) has sold two 297,376dwt VLCCs - Peace China and Grand China - to Greek owners. The price for each vessel is $109m. The two vessels were built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry in 2010 and 2011. The company has sold three VLCCs and one suezmax tanker from October last year. [06/08/13]
