Propulsion fouled off Heraklion
The Port Authority of Heraklion was informed in the morning of April 4, 2020, that the propulsion system of the 'Naftilos' was fouled by an obstructiona 4,5 miles northwest of Agia Pelagia, Heraklion, with a crew of six on board. The 'Minotaurus' immediately came to assist and towed the vessel into the port of Heraklion, where it was safely bethed. The Central Port Authority of Heraklion, which is conducting the preliminary investigation, initially banned the vessel from sailing. After wthe propulsion system was cleared with the assistance of a diving company and an inspection by the local inspectors, the ship was released again.
