Foot torn off by rope
In the afternoon of Mar 5, 2014, a crew member aged in the 20s, while working on board the "Mjosund" which was docked at the Fridtjof Nansen Place in the port of Tromsø got a foot torn off as he got a rope around the ankle. He was taken in care of paramedics and then treated at the neuro and orthopedic clinic of the University Hospital. The injury was not life-threatening. The police was notified of the accident around at 2.30 p.m. Also the Labour Inspection was activated.
