Collision on Scheldt-Rhine-Canal

The "Maxima" and the barge "Poseidon", 1060 ts (EU-No.: 02307658) bumped into each other on the Scheldt-Rhine Canal near Bath in the evening of April 23, 2019. Both were on their way to Antwerp when they were in collision at 10.10 p.m. Both ships were stationary in the canal for some time and then returned to the Kreekrak locks where the "RWS 84" of Rijkswaterstaat attended for investigations. In the morning of April 24 the "Maxima" sailed to its destination Antwerp. The "Poseidon" was still berthed at the Kreekrak locks. Nothing was known about the damage of both ships, but no one was injured.
