Fenja stuck on sandbar
The "Feja" serving between Esbjerg and Fanoe ran onto a sandbar short after its departure from Esbjerg at 7.50 a.m. on its way to Nordby on Oct 29, 2011. The ship got stuck due to dense fog in the early morning.The passengers had were taken off by the sister ferry "Menja". The "Fenja" remained on the sandbar and refloated only with the high tide at 4 a.m. The ferry returned to Esbjerg with own power and was inspected for possible damage.
