Two men went missing after the "Outsailing 9" and the "Nishin Maru" collided off the coast of Tokushima Prefecture, western Japan, on Mar 28, 2010. The "Outsailing 9" and the Nisshin Maru, owned by Hiroshima-based shipping company Asia Ship Trader Co., collided around 12:15 a.m. when they were traveling in the Naruto Strait between Naruto city and the Awaji Island. Two of the four aboard the "Nisshin Maru" went missing, while the others were rescued by the "Outsailing 9" and were taken to hospital in Tokushima. All the crew members, 15 Chinese, aboard the "Outsailing" 9 were unhurt. The accident happened near the Onaruto Bridge connecting Awaji and Naruto city. The "Nisshin Maru" was underway to Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, from Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture, the "Outsailing 9" en route to Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture, from Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture.
