Medevac off Guilvinec
On the night of March 22, 2025, a crew member with a broken bone was evacuated from the 'Ksora'. At around 11 a.m., the trawler alerted the emergency services. A sailor on board had suffered a fracture. The ship was sailing offshore and heading towards the coast. When it was 120 nautical miles from Brest, the French Navy's H160 helicopter arrived on the scene on March 23 around 4 a.m. with a medical team on board. The weather conditions were difficult with force 8 winds and particularly rough seas. Medevac off Ouessant
A Cayman helicopter of the Lanvéoc-Poulmic air base medevaced a crew member of the "Ksora" off Ouessant on Jan 9, 2017, around 7 p.m., who was suffering from chest pain. Fearing a heart attack, the Navy intervened to transport the man to the hospital La Cavale-Blanche in Brest. Upon arrival in the area, the sailor was conscious.
Medevac off Brest
On Dec 11, 2014, around 8:45 a.m. the CROSS Corsen was alerted through the center of maritime medical consultation (MMCC) in Toulouse that a French crew member, aged 32, aboard the "Ksora" needed a medevac 119 km off Brest. Immediately the MRCC Corsen dispatcedh an EC 225 helicopter of the Fleet Base in Lann Bihoué. The patient was hoisted at 11 a.m. and delivered at the Hospital Cavale Blanche at Brest at noon.
