Allision in Bali Strait
The ferry "Dharma Kosala" was in allision with the KMP "Munic 1" which was anchored in the approach of Banyuwangi in the Bali Strait on Dec 28, 2018, at 11:45 a.m. The "Rosala" was underway to Ketapang Port, while the "Munic 1" was off and anchored in the back waters of Lanal Banyuwangi. The "Dharma Kosala" had been berthed at the Lanal Banyuwangi Pier since Dec 27. At 8 a.m. the "Dharma Kosala" could not leave, because she was in the first position at the Lanal Banyuwangi Pier. To the south there were four other ships. Only around 11 a.m. she began to exit the dock stern first. At the same time, the "Munic 1", which was east of the Lanal pier, was carried by the water drifted to the south.
