Ferry suffered cable damage

On the afternoon of Dec 12, the Port Authority of Spetses was informed that the 'Kaptan Stavros', ahead of its departure from the port of Spetses on its its scheduled route to the Argolida Coast, suffered a fault of the starboard side cable of its ramp. The Port Authority of Spetses, which was conducting the preliminary investigation, banned the ship from sailing. Moored ferry damaged in allision

The Port Authority of Salamina was informed in the morning of March 28, 2023, that the ferry 'Dimitrios P', on a scheduled route from Perama Megaridos to the port of Faneromeni Salamina with 28 passengers and 16 vehicles on board, experienced a failure of the steering system and allided with the moored 'Kaptan Stavros', causing damage to both ships.
