Grounding after propulsion loss
The "HR Recommendation" was moored at the Columbus Street Terminal in Charleston, South Carolina, on Dec 12, 2012, short past midnight, after the ship had previously lost propulsion whilst coming from Houston to load project cargo at the Columbus Street Terminal, but ran aground in Charleston Harbor off Sullivan's Island, while the tide was falling in the evening of Dec 11. The Coast Guard immediately established a 100-yard safety zone around the vessel. The ports authority reported no injuries or environmental impacts with the incident, and the harbor stayed open, while a commercial salvage company successfully refloated it and escorted it to Columbus Street Terminal.
